Do you have a great business idea but lack capital?

jordan-whitfield

So, you have a great business idea and you have created a business plan and a business model. The only thing you lack is a bit of capital to start with the project. And you are not sure what you should do to make things work.

There are a few things you should first think of before starting anything:

  1. Friends and family

You should first tell everyone that you have a business model that you want to work on. You never know. Maybe you are surrounded with people who might help you with everything. You know, sometimes you are not aware of what people might do for you. And you are losing more than you’re gaining if you keep yourself closed. But choose wisely whom you are telling about your idea to. You never know whether someone will use it for his own needs.

  1. Bank loaning

It is the safest way to loan the money and start a project, we know it. But be aware that this might be the most complicated way since you will have to return the money as fast as possible. And what if your project doesn’t work out in the end? Or you won’t get enough money in a year? Yes, it’s true that you should think positive, but there are easier ways to loan money. Dotcom-Capital together with Casper Ravn-Sørensen and Mads Emil Fast Dahlerup can help you in achieving your goals.

  1. Invest in your knowledge

The most important thing before even trying anything out is that you are certain in what you know. If you have mastered almost everything in your field, then you don’t have to worry about paying someone to do something for you. You can organize almost everything on your own. And if you have friends and family that are eager to help you out, even better!

  1. Social media marketing

Is one of the cheapest (if not the only free way) of advertising yourself and your project. Try to study our articles and see how you are able to advertise yourself and your project the best. Isn’t the whole point in working with what you have. So, make a Facebook page, a blog, a Twitter account. Go and get your place on the internet. You never know what can happen. In that way, you will be able to communicate with your audience and customers and you will be able to get a hold of and even learn and develop yourself and your project more.

  1. Organizing your time

It might be hard to sacrifice beer time with friends, going to some shows, concerts, bowling. Of course you want to continue living your life to the fullest. But maybe you should stop for a minute and think of all the benefits you will get but giving up certain moments in your life. Those moments will pass, and new moments are yet to come. But you have to work on your idea now which is something that you want the most. Right? Don’t bother about what other people say, just trust your instinct and start spending all the possible time on your project. You will be the happiest person ever!

  1. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy

Yes, we have said right now that you should focus on your project. And that is true. But you shouldn’t listen to the past paragraph 100%. If you spend all your waking hours thinking and working on your project, you will end up having a burnout and not being able to make your business model come true. Some weekends you should spend with your friends and family, without your phone, relaxing as much as you possibly can!
